Rope Drop? Plz explain more...worth it? MK 2of our 5days, is this @ all parks or just MK? Single mom traveling w/2kids & my mom that will have a scooter...too much? Want to enjoy all the MAGIC of Disney, but wasn't sure if this is over rated? THX SO MU

    Hi Faith!!

Thank you so much for another question!!!

Each theme park has its own variation of a Rope Drop.  This is where some of the Disney Characters will open up the theme park with a countdown and small show.

Personally, I think that the Magic Kingdom Rope Drop is the best.  It is so magical to see the characters ride in on the Walt Disney World Railroad!!  This Rope Drop is also the easiest for small children to see as it takes place at the Main Street, USA Train Station.  My son also enjoys the Rope Drop at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Based on your situation with two children and your mom in a scooter, I would highly encourage you to see the Rope Drop at the Magic Kingdom on one of the two days that you are there.  I would suggest trying to be at the Magic Kingdom about 20-30 minutes before park opening to view the show.

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!!

    Have a magical trip!!
