    1. Can you "rope drop" use the early magical hours if you are staying at Pop Century? 2. Does everyone who stays at Disney resort & has park tickets still receive the magic bands?3. The earliest can you do reservation for parks?

Hey there, Cory! Welcome to planDisney!

Cory, all Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry; this gives you a 30-minute early entry into the Walt Disney World theme parks each day. So if Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park officially opens at 9 a.m. during your visit, you will be able to enter the Theme Park at 8:30 a.m. This is a great advantage and usually gives you the chance to experience attractions with much shorter wait times! Not all attractions are available during the Early Theme Park Entry, but you can review the available attractions here to help plan out your park day. By the way, you chose a great resort! My family and I love staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort! We enjoy lounging by the Bowling Pin Pool and snapping photos with the decade statues out front. We also love that we are so close to the Disney Skyliner. This mode of transportation makes navigating to Disney Hollywood Studios and EPCOT a breeze.

Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests no longer receive complimentary MagicBands. Good News, your MagicBand from a previous visit will still work! Additionally, MagicBands are available for purchase at discounted pre-arrival prices through your My Disney Experience account. When I pre-ordered my MagicBand for my most recent trip, the solid color MagicBands were discounted by about 50%, which is a great deal! Of course, I scrolled right past those and selected the Thanos Infinity Stone MagicBand. How could I pass on that?

Cory, you can make Disney Park Pass reservations for your Theme Park visits now. I suggest making your reservations as soon as possible to make sure you get to visit the parks you want on your preferred days.

I hope this helps, Cory! If you have more questions as you plan, come back and ask me. You’ve got a friend in me!
