Do all of the rooms at Yacht Club have balconies? and are they all private? I read somewhere someone had a "shared" balcony and I would personally not like that! Thank you!

    Hi Anna Marie!

I consider the Disney Yacht Club Resort as my home resort. When we are not camping at Fort Wilderness we will book ourselves at the Yacht Club. We love the location and the amenities including the great Stormalong Bay pool shared with the Beach Club resort.

All but perhaps one Club Level room have balconies at the Yacht Club Resort while the first floor rooms have small patios. The balconies are large enough for two chairs and a table and are a great place to enjoy a sunrise or sunset each day. There are indeed a few shared balconies. Your best bet to ensure you don't get one of these is to book a lagoon or garden view room. When you check in you can also double check on your assigned room and if it is not to your liking you can request a change. Of course during busy times of the year this is more difficult to do when the resort is completely booked. So it's best to book the room category that will assure you of the kind of room you wish.

The Yacht Club resort is undergoing a major refurbishment and I had the opportunity to see some of the new rooms this past fall. They hope to have everything done by this fall and the rooms are amazing. They will truly make you think you have stepped into the captains quarters on a luxury cruise ship!
