Have all the rooms at Wilderness Boulder Ridge been updated, including the wheelchair accessible ones? Thank you

Howdy Jessie, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for sending your inquiry our way. My family enjoys our stays in Disney Resorts Collection hotels just as much as our visits to the theme parks, so you've got a friend in me regarding resort questions!

I'm happy to share that room refurbishments at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are complete. All accommodations, including accessible ones, now feature shiny laminate flooring, new furniture (including pull-down Murphy-style beds that replaced sofa beds), and updated pioneer-inspired decor. You'll love the rustic elegance of the refreshed rooms!

Jessie, I love Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and I want to share a few of my favorite tips for Guests staying at this gorgeous property. First, sit down for at least one meal at Geyser Point Bar & Grill. This tranquil lounge serves delicious food and unique beverages during lunch and dinner. Bonus: no reservations needed! You might have to wait a few minutes for a table during peak mealtimes, but there are plenty of lakeside chairs and benches to relax in while Cast Members prepare a spot for you. My family often takes a break from Magic Kingdom Park to eat here even when we're not staying at the resort just because we enjoy it so much. The boat dock for Seven Seas Lagoon water transportation is conveniently close to the restaurant.

Speaking of your Seven Seas Lagoon, my next tip is to catch the Electrical Water Pageant from the shores of your resort at least once during your stay. Check the Resort Hotel section of the My Disney Experience mobile app to see when this charming "parade" will float by.

Finally, I recommend exploring the awe-inspiring lobby. Gaze at (and snap a few group pictures in front of) the 82-foot-tall stone fireplace. Relax in the rocking chairs and take in the scenery while you wait for your party members to finish getting ready. Hunt for hidden Mickeys and other intricate details in the Pacific Northwest-inspired design. You'll encounter plenty of Disney magic before heading to the theme parks!

I hope this has been helpful, Jessie. Best wishes for an enchanting vacation, and if there's anything we at planDisney can do to make it even more memorable, stop by and see us again. We're all ears!
