We have 2 rooms via Shades of Green. My mother is the sponsor and her name appears on both reservations but she is only staying in one room. How do we get her name off the 2 room so we can get all 45 people in that room listed?

Hello Linda!

Welcome to planDisney! It is so wonderful that you are visiting Walt Disney World with your mother, and that she is sponsoring you at Shades of Green Resort! Any time spent with family is special, but that time is even more magical in Disney!

I called Shades of Green Resort and learned that the sponsor’s name must remain on both reservations. When you arrive to Shades of Green and check in, the Front Desk will ask for the names of the Guests in each room. You cannot add the names before you arrive to the Resort. Don’t forget that your mother may also be able to purchase theme park tickets through Shades of Green Resort. You can learn more about the Disney Military Salute Tickets on the Walt Disney World website.

Disney Parks Blog recently shared about the Disney Celebrates America initiative for our nation’s 250th anniversary. As part of the celebration, Disneyland and Walt Disney World will open Soarin’ Across America to highlight the beauty of our country. The article also shared that in November, new special offers for eligible service members visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line in 2026 will be revealed, so stay tuned!
