Ahoy, Sara! Welcome to planDisney, where we aim to answer all of your Disney Cruise Line questions to ensure smooth sailing once you are out at sea.
If you made the reservations for all four staterooms yourself, then they should already be linked. But let me give you some tips to make sure that everyone in your sailing party will be able to enjoy
rotational dining together. Start by going to the
main Disney Cruise Line website and clicking on the tab at the top right labeled “Already Booked,” you can then click on the option labeled “My Reservations” under “My Disney Cruise.” That will open up a page that should show your upcoming cruise and a drop-down box on the right hand side that lists your reservation number. If you click on the reservation number, it should open up other reservations and you should see your upcoming cruise description with all four staterooms listed below. However, if you only see your stateroom listed, then you need to click on the blue link at the bottom of that drop-down box that says “Add and Link Reservations.” That will open up a new page where you can add the other stateroom reservations that are missing. In order to do that, you will need the booking confirmation number and both the last name and date of birth for a guest in each room. Keep in mind that connecting reservations does share all of the details, including balance and payment information.
Once you have confirmed that all four of your staterooms are connected, then you can go back to your main reservation page to request a private table. At the bottom of that page, there are a number of white boxes and you are looking for the one labeled “Special Requests.” Click on the blue link labeled “Edit Your Requests” and a new page will open with a menu of options on the left. Click on the bottom one that says “Table Requests” and select “At a private table” from the drop-down menu. By selecting that option, you will have the best chance of getting a table in the dining room just for your party. It is simply a request, not a guarantee, but if you have a large sailing party, you are likely to be assigned your own table anyway just due to the seating options within the dining rooms.
As far as other reservations, you will be able to make selections for members of your sailing party in different staterooms as long as you have verified that they are connected. One thing to keep in mind though is that if you are a member of the
Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club and get access to an earlier
advance booking window, that will only apply to your immediate stateroom. Castaway Club levels are
assigned by stateroom, so at least one guest in each stateroom would need to have the same membership level to gain early access. Alternatively, you can always wait for the general booking window to open and make all of your onboard reservations then.
If you have any other concerns about connecting your reservations, you can also call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532. I hope you and your entire crew have a fantastic time onboard. We are always here at planDisney if you have any other questions before you set sail. Happy sailing!
