Hey, Kitty. Welcome to planDisney!
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort was the very first place my wife and I stayed together on property. Like all Value Resorts, this hotel is very affordable, whilst still allowing you to take advantage of some great
benefits, like
Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary Disney transportation. It's also really convenient to be able to go back to your hotel in the middle of the day for a dip in the pool or a nap before returning to the theme park for the evening.
I was very excited to hear about the room refurbishments at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. I know that the reimagined rooms in the Touchdown (football) and Homerun (baseball) sections of the resort were completed last year. I also believe that the rest of the rooms were completed very recently. I spoke with two Cast Members to see if this was true, however, they weren't able to confirm this. Even so, they did say they were under the impression that this work has been completed. Therefore, my best-educated guess is that the rooms have all been refurbished.
I hope that's clarifying, Kitty. Don't forget to make your
dining reservations 60 days before your trip. In fact, because you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be able to make your reservations 60 days in advance plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). This will give you a better chance of booking a table at the most popular restaurants. Since I'm staying on property for my upcoming trip, I was recently able to take advantage of this benefit to secure a coveted breakfast reservation at
Topollino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. I was also able to make an evening reservation at my favorite restaurant,
California Grill. Oh, boy! I can't wait!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kitty. Have a wonderful trip.
Mike
