Hi Lois,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
It sounds like you’ve already booked your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, but haven’t yet purchased your tickets? If you didn’t purchase your Theme Park tickets at the same time as your hotel room, you can purchase your tickets at any time, you’ll just want to do so in advance so they’re already in your
My Disney Experience account for the vacation.
When you go to purchase your
tickets, you’ll have a few options to choose from. You don’t need to choose your specific Theme Park just yet, but you’ll need to select the type of ticket. There are one park per day tickets as well as Park Hopper tickets (going to more than one park per day) and Water Park additions. You’ll have to decide which is the best option for your party!
Once you purchase your tickets, there is one more step you’ll need to take. It can happen now or at a later time, but before your trip, you’ll need to book
Disney Park Pass reservations that coincide with your Theme Park tickets. This is the time when you choose which Park to enter on a specific day. Each member of your party will need both Theme Park tickets plus a Disney Park Pass for every day they want to enter the Parks. Since you’re looking to travel in 2023, right now there’s plenty of availability, but the closer you get to your dates the less availability there will most likely be.
There is a
Theme Park Reservation Calendar, which is super helpful so you can see each day and what Theme Park availability there is. I always suggest that when guests purchase their tickets, they also book their Disney Park Passes. This way everything is ready to go and you just await your vacation!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you begin preparing for your 2023 trip! If you have any other vacation or planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
