Hi David!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question about your upcoming visit. Your trip is just days away, so let’s get down to business. You can call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets number to ask a Cast Member to link your reservations. When you call, you will need the reservation number and the name of the primary Guest on each reservation. You can also request that your rooms be assigned near each other while speaking to the Cast Member. Room requests are considered, but not guaranteed.
If you’re referring to managing your group’s
dining reservations and
Lightning Lanes, you don’t need to link your Resort reservations! Instead, add each Guest to your Family & Friends List. On the
Walt Disney World website, you can visit your Family & Friends List and click “+ Add a Guest.” You can search for a Guest by entering their name and phone number or email associated with their My Disney account, or by entering information about their Hotel Reservation. The other Guest will receive an email asking them to accept your invitation to plan together. Once they accept, you can begin making plans with anyone on your Family & Friends List. You can also add Guests to your Family & Friends List in the My Disney Experience app by visiting your profile and clicking “Family & Friends List.”
It sounds like you’re staying at a Disney Resort, so your
Lightning Lane purchase window will open seven days before your arrival. You can purchase Lightning Lanes for anyone from your Family & Friends List as long as they are eligible, which means they must have valid theme park admission and also be within their Lightning Lane purchase window.
I hope this was helpful, David! Your vacation will be here soon, but if you have any more questions, we’ll be happy to help you again here at
planDisney!
