Hi Karen,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. We stayed in a Royal Guest Room at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for my daughter's birthday last year, and we had so much fun celebrating the birthday princess in this most perfect setting. I know you're going to love this beautiful and richly-themed resort!
My husband and I are the types that neeeeeeeeeeeed our caffeine in the mornings - we're both more Maleficent than Aurora before we get that sweet happiness potion into our systems. At Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, we had a Cuisinart coffee maker that accepted flat filter packs that came pre-filled with coffee or tea, kind of like a big tea bag. There was a nice supply of coffee and tea options in the room, along with supply packs that included a stir stick, napkin, powdered creamer, and an assortment of sugar options.
Your coffee and coffee supplies will be replenished each day as part of Mousekeeping's visit. Should you find that you need more of any kind of supply, you are certainly welcome to call Mousekeeping using your room's phone to make the request. I'm a tea drinker, and on a recent Disney vacation I called to request more of my preferred blend, and a Cast Member showed up with several tea pods on a silver platter. I felt so
fancy!
Have the best time at this lovely resort, Karen. I highly recommend a walk along the beautiful Sassagoula River to visit Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Make sure to stop at
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory to sample their legendary beignets, which pair beautifully with a cup of coffee. Yum!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
