Do the rooms at the Polynesian Resort have coffee makers? What type?

    Aloha, Robert! Welcome to planDisney!

I have to imagine you’re getting excited. Not only is your Walt Disney World adventure just a couple of weeks away (woo hoo!), but you’re also staying at one of my favorite resort hotels, the Polynesian Village Resort. I’m sure it’s going to be a magical experience!

All rooms at the Polynesian Village Resort, and all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, come equipped with coffee makers. The type of coffee maker, though, may differ depending on the specific type of room you’re staying in. My understanding is that rooms at the Polynesian Village Resort currently have Cuisinart single-serve coffee makers, as do studio rooms at the Polynesian Villas & Bungalos. Villas have full pot coffee makers.

If you need more sources of caffeine during your stay, be sure to stop by Kona Island, which is located on the second floor of the hotel’s main lobby. They serve great coffee drinks all day long, as well as pastries and breakfast options in the morning. On my last stay here, I found that Kona Island opens a little earlier than Capt. Cook’s, so it became our daily breakfast stop as we got ready for rope drop at the theme parks.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Robert. Pop right back if you have any more vacation-planning questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
