What rooms at the Polynesian are the most conveniently located to the monorail.I have a 2 yr and 4 mon old to carry plus essentials. Thank you,

    Hi there, Martha!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question!

Disney's Polynesian Resort is so gorgeous and it's really a perfect Resort choice when traveling with little kiddos like yours. Having the monorail right at the front lobby will have your family arriving at the gates of Magic Kingdom Park in no time! It's especially convenient if you need to go back to your room for naps during the day too!

Both times my family has stayed at the Polynesian, we've stayed in the Barotonga Longhouse. It's right across the way from the front lobby...just a quick walk. Take a look at the map of the entire property so you can see the layout. To be honest, none of the Longhouses are too far of a walk to the Great Ceremonial House where the monorail is located. What you can do is put a request into your reservation either within your My Disney Experience account or by calling 407.939.1936.

As a side note, I just want to give you an additional resource on Traveling With Little Ones. This site includes all kinds of very useful information and tips! Also, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the Baby Care Centers that are located in each one of the 4 major Theme Parks...they can really be a lifesaver!

Thanks again for writing in, Martha, and please let us know if we can help with any other questions you think of!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
