Hi there, Piper!
I am glad that you reached out to planDisney with your question! I recently returned from a stay at
Pixar Place Hotel, so I'm happy to share what I learned.
In my experience,
Premium View Rooms may offer a very limited glimpse of the Disneyland Park fireworks, but it's not something I would count on. What you are most likely to enjoy is a side-angle view of
World of Color in Disney California Adventure Park from some of these rooms! Your in-room TV usually includes a channel that plays the show's soundtrack, which is perfect for families who need to head back early with tired little ones (or parents!).
If seeing the fireworks from your hotel is a priority, I recommend heading up to the rooftop pool deck instead. The music is often broadcast throughout the area, and it's a cozy spot to settle in with a blanket and enjoy the show. In the past, fireworks often began around 9:30 PM on most summer nights. Since the schedule for July isn't available yet, keep an eye on the
Disneyland Hours & Events Calendar as your trip approaches.
During my recent stay, I don't believe Pixar Place Hotel offered room service. However, my family often stopped by
The Sketch Pad Cafe for coffee and a quick breakfast. I enjoyed their Breakfast Burrito after my
runDisney race, although it looks like the menu now features a Mini Frittata. The pastries were also delicious! The menu may be different in July, but I'm sure it will all be tasty!
Make sure to set aside time to enjoy the
hotel pools, which are scheduled to reopen in March (dates subject to change). Crush's Surfin' Slide is a blast, and the lounge chairs offer the perfect place to relax on a warm summer day.
Piper, I hope this information helps as you plan your visit. Feel free to
send me another question anytime!
Magic Happens!
