Hiya, Jana!
With both teen and adult children, my larger family also definitely does best with hotel accommodations featuring more than one bathroom. Fortunately, such accommodations can be found at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. At the classic
Disneyland Hotel and the elegant
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, all two- and three-bedroom suites have at least two bathrooms. And at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel,
all suites have two or more bathrooms.
Of course, the bathrooms all have locks on their doors. While I am not sure about the bedroom doors of all of the suites, there are definitely some that will feature interior locks. For example, some suites in the Disneyland Hotel and in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa are "connecting" suites. That is, they are made up of a one- or two-bedroom suite that can connect to another standard room to add an additional bedroom. In those cases, the connecting door between the two main parts of the “connecting” suites all have locks. If this type of room interests you, you may make a request when you book your hotel-only stay or
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. Note that requests are not guaranteed. But the hotel staff will do all they can to accommodate them when possible.
I hope this helps you make your resort hotel selection for your Disneyland Resort vacation. My family and I have been fortunate enough to have stayed at all three of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. They are all magical. I think my favorite is the Disneyland Hotel. I love that nostalgic feel of the original. And the whimsical and magical touches in the rooms make stays there so memorable for me.
If you have any more questions, I look forward to hEARing from you soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
See ya real soon, Jana!
