Hi Janet! Welcome to planDisney!

I am SO happy to hear that you are staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in just a few days! This is my family's favorite Disney Resort hotel. My husband and I first fell in love with this Deluxe Resort with our first stay there 10 years ago and have returned many times since. You will love it!

Amenities that you will find in your rooms at this resort include a hairdryer, coffee maker (with coffee, sugar, and creamer - more available upon request), iron and ironing board, in-room safe, and mini-refrigerator. You are welcome to request a microwave for each of your rooms, but they are usually subject to availability. I recommend contacting Guest Services for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at (407) 824-3000 to see if they can add the request to your hotel reservation now.

I highly encourage you to plan a night (or two!) to watch the Electrical Water Pageant sail past the resort. My kids beg to watch this every night when we visit and I'll admit that I find myself running outside to watch it myself when I hear the music approaching. It is sure to bring a smile to your face!
