    Are there any rooms on the 12th floor that are better as far as a view of the Magic Kingdom and not as noisy from Chef Mickey's?

    Hi there Loren!

    I know exactly what you're after here and I can totally relate! I LOVE Disney's Contemporary Resort - and especially the rooms in the Tower facing the Magic Kingdom. It really doesn't get much more magical than that view does it?

    I'm a very light sleeper though ... so the noise from Chef Mickey's being set up for its early morning Guests is a deterrent for me. You're smart to be requesting a higher floor. I was on the 9th and directly above Chef Mickey's.

    To be further from the potential noise, being on the other side of the iconic Mary Blair mural that divides the tower's Grand Canyon Concourse would be key. The 12th floor room numbers are in the 4800's. Those on the Magic Kingdom side but furthest from Chef Mickey's would be perhaps 4840 - 4848 (with 48 being the furthest and right on the end of the building closest to Magic Kingdom).

    I hope this information helps with your room request Loren. Be sure to call in your request well in advance of your arrival and have a Cast Member notate it on your resort reservation file. Call (407) 939-7675 to add a 'request.' Your request cannot be guaranteed however Cast Members will do their very best based on availability at the time of your room assignment. It never hurts to ask again during the check-in process once you've arrived on site.
