Where are the rooms facing at the BWV if you request a room near the elevator? Can you see the fireworks? Is any view quieter than another? Traveling with young children who nap. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  The Boardwalk Villas is one of my favorite resorts, I love the atmosphere!  When you request a room near the elevators, what your room might face will depend on what type of room you have booked.  If you have a Boardwalk View booked, you the rooms closest to the elevator would look over the courtyard just off the main lobby.  If you have preferred view booked, you would most likely look over the main theme pool and if you have a standard view you will probably look over the main entrance of the resort.

When near the elevators, you probably won't have a great view of the fireworks but that doesn't mean you won't get a few glimpses of the higher ones at Epcot.  I know when we stayed in our Standard View Room, we could hear Fantasmic! in the distance.

As for noise, unfortunately I think any of the rooms in the elevator might be considered a little noisier than the others a bit further away.  The Boardwalk View will have the Boardwalk noise which will be more noticeable at night, and the preferred view will be noisy during the busier times at the pool, and the standard views near the elevator can be subject to the luggage cart noise from Magical Express just outside by the main entrance.  Don't let this worry you though, unless you plan on napping with the windows open!  By having your patio door closed you will reduce the majority of the noise you hear.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
