Hi, what rooms at the 3 Disneyland Hotels have balconys. It's not very clear when trying to book. 2 adults and 1 13 child so need 1 king and a sofa or 2 x queen beds but a balcony is not negotiatable as my husband is claustrophobic!

Hello there Heidi!  Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question!

I spoke to a helpful Cast Member about your question, and they highly recommended Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.  Most of the Guest rooms do have a balcony or patio, however, there are a small handful of rooms that do not, and it is not 100% guaranteed that you would receive a room with a balcony or patio.

However, she recommended that if you do book your hotel room at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you can call the Hotel 10 days out from your arrival date to make the special request for a room with a balcony.

I also wanted to mention that the Australian Disneyland site does recommend that you work with a local travel agent in your area to book your trip to the Disneyland Resort.  I'm hoping that a travel agent who has great experience booking trips to the "Happiest Place on Earth" will have some recommendations on how to best secure the room type you're looking for, and ensure that everyone in your family has an enjoyable trip!

As your trip gets closer Heidi, I highly recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news, events, and foodie guides!  If you have any other questions we can help with, please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney and ask!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
