Hi there, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're hoping to plan a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort with a large party, which is one of my absolute favorite things to do! Our Disney crew is typically between 12 and 18 (or more) people of all ages, and it's a blast every time!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is part of the Deluxe Villa Resort collection of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Here you'll find rooms from studios to multi-bedroom villas equipped with full kitchens and washer and dryer units inside the room! Bay Cove Pool boasts a 20-foot waterslide and convenient poolside bar. Perhaps what makes this one of the most sought-after hotels is its proximity to
Magic Kingdom Park, which is just steps or away. I recently stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and couldn't have been happier with the pleasant walk to Magic Kingdom Park from the hotel.
If you're traveling with a party of up to 12 people and would like to call Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort "home" during your vacation, you can definitely consider booking my favorite type of room: a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa. These Villas offer three separate bedrooms, four full bathrooms, living and dining areas, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a balcony with either a Lake View or a Theme Park View of Magic Kingdom Park. The 3-Bedroom Grand Villas do not connect to other rooms.
If you need to book additional rooms for more members of your party, you absolutely can - just check out the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel site for availability. During booking, you can request adjoining rooms, or you can
reach out to a Cast Member to make this request. While it's not guaranteed, they will do their best to find two rooms close together for you!
My favorite way to make sure my large family has time to be together during our vacation is by booking an
Advance Dining Reservation at a Table-Service Restaurant. My family loves dining at '
Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Dinner here features a taste of the South Pacific and is a celebration of family and togetherness.
Lisa, if you have any additional questions about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a large party, please don't hesitate to come right back to planDisney!
Have a magical day!
