We will have 3 rooms at Caribbean Beach resort in May 2019. They are preferred rooms. Does that mean we get to choose the room and location?

    Hi Sandra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey has a whole lot of fun in store for 2019. Make sure to 'like' and 'follow' the Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media channels so you won't miss a minute of the newest Disney Parks news, everything from attractions and shows to the best bites and sweetest treats.

Disney's Resort Hotels all have a few different classifications of their guest rooms, with Preferred Rooms being in buildings closest to the lobby, main pool, resort bus stop and dining locations. At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Preferred Rooms are all in buildings 31, 32 and 33 of the Trinidad North section, as well as buildings 24, 25 and 26 of the Martinique area.

Requests for a specific room number are usually unable to be filled as rooms are generally assigned on check-in day. However, you can certainly make other requests like the type of view (water or garden), floor request (ground, low, high, etc), wheelchair accessible, and even if you'd like connecting rooms with another reservation. Your best bet for requests like these would be to call Disney's Resort Hotel Reservation phone line at (407) 939-1936 within five days of your arrival. These requests can also be made at check-in. If you use Disney's Online Resort Check-in, you'll get a text when your room is ready. If you still have a request after your room has been assigned, you can always speak with the Front Desk to see if anything else is available.

I hope this helped, Sandra, and We'll See You in 2019!
    ~Kristen
