    We have 2 rooms booked but can my daughter obtain a passcard for her room to give me to access. When they are off to the parks and have forgotten something. If so, could that card also give me access to meals for our granddaughter when we have her.

    Greetings, Janice! Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation! I’m so happy to hear about your multi-generational trip; those are always my favorite.
     
    I’m sorry to say that your MagicBand will only be able to open your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room. A MagicBand cannot hold two room keys, as it becomes a safety issue. Perhaps you could request connecting rooms if your Resort Hotel offers them, so you may pass through rooms and your granddaughter can access her things if she needs them. Connecting room requests are never guaranteed, but Disney Cast Members will do everything they can to grant the request. As far as her Disney Dining Plan credits go, since she is about 7 years old she will have her own MagicBand. On this band will be her meal credits and entitlements, so she can present her band to pay for her meals, even when she is with you instead of Mom.
     
    Be sure to get everyone together in the park of your choice and flag down a Disney PhotoPass photographer. Having a professionally shot photo of everyone in front of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth, Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life, Hollywood Studios’ Tower of Terror or Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle will be a memory to treasure!
