Ahoy there, Kai! Welcome to planDisney!
I’m excited that you’re trying to book a sailing on Disney Cruise Line’s newest vessel, the
Disney Adventure! There’s so much to love about the Disney Adventure, especially because it’s so large and magically in charge of so much fun! With 19 decks in total, there are lots of exciting activities happening in the
7 different themed areas at all times!
Like you, when I book my Disney Adventure cruise, I may also book a stateroom in the Disney Imagination Garden to be front and center of all the fun happening on the Garden Stage. While I haven’t sailed on the Disney Adventure yet to give you my personal review of a stateroom location on board, I can share the tips that I’m going to use when booking my own future voyage.
Based on the
deck plans of the ship, the Disney Imagination Garden (and thus the Garden Stage) is located on Deck 10. The
stateroom that you will want to book for an indoor verandah view of the Disney Imagination Garden is called “Deluxe Garden View Stateroom with Verandah”. It is available on Decks 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16, and classified in the 5A and 5B stateroom categories. Since these staterooms are directly above Deck 10, they will offer prime views of the Disney Imagination Garden.
Most importantly, pay attention to the stateroom names when booking, as there are different types of verandah staterooms on board, to ensure you’re booking one with the words “Garden View” in the title, and not accidentally booking an Oceanview or Reef View verandah room. If you need help when booking your stateroom, you’re more than welcome to contact Disney Cruise Line, as a Cast Member is always happy to assist.
As for your next question of whether the cruise is suitable for your 88-year-old grandmother, Kai, let me excitedly remind you that Disney magic has no age limit! I’ve sailed on Disney cruises with babies and the elderly, and not only is there an activity for every age level, but everyone always has the most incredible time! If mobility is a concern, Disney Cruise Line allows
wheelchairs and mobility devices to be brought on board, and there are elevators on every floor, as well as
accessible staterooms. There are also many
adult-only spaces, such as dining at Palo Trattoria, lounges, and the adult-only spa attached to the fitness center.
To find the best price on your cruise, I recommend
booking as early as possible, sailing during “off travel seasons” such as non-holidays and/or school breaks, and keeping an eye out for any
Special Offers. These are the tips I use for myself when I’m looking to get the best possible cruise price, but please note that prices and availability are always subject to change.
Kai, I hope I was able to provide clarification. I wish you the most ADVENTUREous memories on board! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
You’ve Got a Friend in Me,
Rana
