Ahoy Sally,
Thank you for coming to planDisney with your question!
I can absolutely understand why you would like to sail on the
Disney Wish. What a beautiful ship! My family was able to sail on the Disney Wish last year, and we were astounded by all of the detail. We also sailed with friends in another stateroom. I think that a cruise is an excellent way to vacation to take with an extended party. There is so much for everyone to experience during the day, and then at night you can come together for dinner and a show.
The good news that I have for you is that it does look like there is some availability for the Disney Wish sailing that departs when are you looking to sail. In order to see this availability, I suggest that you head to the
Disney Cruise Line website. At the top of the page, you can set the "Explore Destinations" area to find your cruise. I did this by selecting the month, departing from Port Canaveral, and three guests. Then I also used more filters to select the Disney Wish. This does bring up that there is availability for your desired cruise!
I also checked to see if this sailing qualifies for a
military discount with Disney Cruise Line, and it does not appear that it does. The military discount applies to certain Disney cruises only. More information about
qualifying for a military discount for a Disney cruise can be found online.
If you do decide to book this cruise, you can book online. I would also suggest
calling Disney Cruise Line. You can talk with them about linking your reservation to your other family who are on board, and you can also let them know that you were looking for a military discount. Even if these discounts are not available, you can still learn more about a military discount that way.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Sally. Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney with any further Disney planning questions you may have!
