If I make a room-only reservation at a resort I understand Magic Bands are included in that. My question is, if I purchase tickets separately (not as part of a package), would I still be eligible for EMH if the tickets are not linked to a package?

Welcome to the Disney Moms Panel, Erin!

Thank you for allowing us to help plan your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World. The short answer to your question is, yes! As long as you’re using your tickets during the same time that you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you’ll be able to utilize Extra Magic Hours. So go ahead and book that room-only reservation!

However, to ensure everything is correctly linked, once you purchase your tickets be sure to add them to your My Disney Experience account so that everything is safely nestled in one location.

Insider Tip: Might I also suggest looking into the Disney PhotoPass option while logged into the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Just last month I had the opportunity to utilize the Memory Maker service and it was outstanding to have professional photographers take our photo and have them loaded into the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
