We have a room-only reservation for one night followed by a Magic Your Way package (no dining.) What do I need to know about how that Will work out? Will we be able to start our park visit during our room-only stay?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keira! I love going straight to the Parks before I hit my Walt Disney World Resort Hotel! In fact, last summer, I flew into MCO airport and completed the Four Parks in One Day challenge before hitting the hay harder than Sleeping Beauty!

You can totally use your a la carte Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets before your scheduled Disney Resort hotel check-in, but if your tickets are part of a Magic Your Way vacation package, you’ll need to complete a few steps before using your theme park tickets. If your tickets are part that type of vacation package, you need to visit a Guest Relations window to have your theme park tickets “activated.” If your tickets are NOT part of a package, you can waltz right into the Parks! So in your case, you’ll need to visit Guest Relations on the morning of your Park day. Try to keep track of how many days your tickets are good for, and be sure to use them before their expiration date.

If I can help you plan any further, please let me know. There’s so much to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort and I love doing new things! ~ Lindsey P.
