If you have room only , w/all the changes to the meal plan if paying out of pocket does everyone in room still need to get meal plan ( only 2 adults want it) will have 5 guest in room 3a & 2c....also can you go to sci-fi just for shakes

    Hey Debbie!

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We are here to help!

If you are thinking about adding the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation, everyone in the room must be on the same plan. It's a great savings and I love knowing that our meals are paid for in advance of our trip. The cost for the children is really a bargain and if either of them is under the age of 3, they are not included in the dining plan. They simply eat off of your plate or you can purchase a meal for them separately. Sometimes my older children can still share one meal! If you would like to check out the prices for the dining plan, just go to Allears.net. This site has a ton of great information and can give you a good estimate of what you can expect to pay for the dining plan.

As for dining at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, you can absolutely just order dessert. It simply wouldn't be a Disney vacation if you didn't indulge a little bit and go straight for dessert! I would still recommend that you try to secure a reservation for this popular spot so that you don't have a long wait for those yummy milkshakes.

I hope you have a magical upcoming vacation and make lots of memories. Have a pixie dusted day!
