If a room type is sold out and it is nine months in advance does it ever open up at a later date?

    Hello, Susan!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the Walt Disney World Resorts.

Here's my suggestion...  Once you are settled on your vacation dates,  book the resort that's available which best suits your needs.  If your number one choice isn't available, select the next best option for your travel party.  Based on my own personal experience,  it is absolutely possible that your desired room type or resort will become available.  You may need to be persistent in your efforts, however! If possible, check day by day online or by calling (407)WDW-STAY for new inventory.  As a matter of fact, I was recently able to book my desired room type 4 weeks ahead of my travel dates.  Until then, there was no availability.  Keep in mind there are no guarantees, but don't give up!

    Magically yours in 2018,

    Jacqui
