Aloha, Kim,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort holds such a special place in my heart as my family has stayed there many times and has such unforgettable memories from those trips. If I could stay anywhere in the resort, it would be in the
Bungalows, which are the newest addition the resort. The bungalows actually rest on top of the water and have spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom. The accommodations have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen. Guest even have their own private plunge pool! Since you didn't mention any budget restrictions, I went with this option.
On our last visit to the resort, we stayed in a
Deluxe Studio. These are quite spacious and have 2 bathrooms. With 3 children, that was a priceless amenity for our family. These rooms have both lagoon views and garden views. We like the garden views from Pago Pago and appreciated that they were away from the current construction going on at the resort.
The resort also has lovely Club-Level rooms with a variety of rooms with a loyal following of guests who return every year to these rooms. If you'd like to be pampered with extra amenities and have personalized guest services, this is a good match. My parents stayed there for their 50th wedding anniversary and still remember how magical the trip was.
And of course, all the other rooms that have both lagoon and garden views are equally wonderful. While I do enjoy watching the fireworks from our rooms, I think I prefer the tranquility of the garden views. If you'd like to explore more about the resort, you may want to visit tikimanpages.com.
