What are the room sizes for the Animal Kingdom Lodge vs. the Animal Kingdom Villas. We like ot have room to spread out when on vacation, but want to know if the 1 bedroom villa is worth the extra costs vs. the Animal Kingdom Lodge rooms

    Hi Nikki,

Let's first look at the square footage -

Animal Kingdom Lodge standard rooms are 344 sq. ft.
Animal Kingdom Lodge 1 bedroom villas are 629-710 sq. ft.

Other benefits with a one bedroom villa include:

king size bed in the master bedroom
    whirlpool tub in master bathroom
    full kitchen
    washer and dryer
private bedroom separate from the rest of the living space

You'll also need to decide how much time you'll be spending at your resort. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite WDW resorts!
