Is room service included if we are on a dining plan and it's offered by the hotel? I see the Grand Floridian has a great room service menu for the times our special needs child is maxed out.

    Hi Connie,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A little bit to go until your magical vacation, but you'll soon see how time goes fast. In fact, faster than the Millennium Falcon!

The Disney Dining Plans give you great flexibility and allow you to manage your meal budgets ahead of time, and you can spend more time of your vacation having fun instead. For 2017, you can enjoy In-Room dining when available and as follows:

2017 Disney Dining Plan - one entrée, one dessert, one alcoholic beverage
2017 Deluxe Dining Plan - one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, one alcoholic beverage

Note that each meal requires two Table-Service entitlements, but gratuities are included.

Some resorts may have Pizza Delivery, and each meal receives two single-serving alcoholic beverages, one Pizza entrée item, two desserts, for both Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe Dining Plan. Again, each meal requires two Table-Service entitlements, but gratuities are included.

One last tip: my family loves to maximize time at the Theme Parks, but it's super important to take breaks, including a mid-afternoon break back at the Resort, or even a ride with the Complimentary Resort Transportation, like the Walt Disney World Monorail System. See you real soon!
