Is the room service food free or is there a charge for the food it self? I know tipping is additional but read that you have to sign a reciept for the food so I did not know if there was an additional charge from what I paid

    Welcome aboard, Sheri!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. One of the best things that our family enjoys the most about the Disney Cruise, is the abundance of great food. The restaurants are high quality paired with impeccable service. There's always something for everyone, no matter how picky or restricted or controlled your palates may be.

You'll be glad to know that the round-the-clock room service is already included in the price of your cruise. So order away - anytime of the day! I always time my kids' evening nightcaps through room service - everyone loves warm cookies and milk at bedtime. If you happen to be feeling the munchies in between meals, there are quite a few choices to order as well. You can even order those yummy Mickey Bars for you and your buccaneers! It's not on the menu, but ask for it and they'll deliver these goodies to your stateroom. There will be a receipt for you to sign to confirm delivery, and space for a tip. Or, you can bring some single dollar bills for tips.

Please write back soon if you have additional questions. We're always happy to help.

    Have a pixie dusted day!
