Is there room service or food delivery available?

Hiya, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sharing your delicious dining question with us.

Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few days away. How awesome is that? You’ll be immersed in a world of magic and wonder before you know it. What’s first on the vacation itinerary? A day at the Magic Kingdom? A pool day at your resort? Whatever it is, I’m sure it will be awesome.

The Grand Floridian Resort is the only Walt Disney World Resort hotel that currently offers room service. As for food delivery, you can order food from local restaurants and third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats and Grubhub, but they cannot bring deliveries directly to your room. You would need to meet the delivery driver in the hotel lobby to get your food. Luckily, most food delivery apps have tracking features, so that shouldn’t be a problem!

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to get food while staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, don’t forget about Mobile Ordering. Using your My Disney Experience mobile app, you can order ahead at select dining locations. You just pick the time frame you’d like to get your food, and then go to the restaurant and let the restaurant know you’ve arrived via the app. Before you can say “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” you’ll be enjoying your meal!

I hope this information helps solidify plans for your upcoming vacation, Melissa. If you have any other questions or need recommendations for mobile ordering dining locations, don’t hesitate to come right back. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
