Are there in room safes in resort rooms?

    Hello, Holly,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  Walt Disney World has a wonderful selection of Disney Resort Hotels that offer many benefits for guests to make their stay as magical as possible.  There are also many styles and themes to select from for different budgets while still embracing the joy of Disney.

While staying at a Disney Resort, the rooms do have safes in them. However, they are different from resort to resort.  Some safes are on a pedestal while others are located in the wall.  Because of this, the sizes of the safes vary so the amount of storage provided also varies. The pedestal safes are often the largest while the wall safes are smaller. When you arrive at your resort, there will be instructions on how to use the digital safe. You will be able to create a code that is unique for you; no one else will know the code.  If you happen to forget it, you call the Front Desk for assistance.

If you are trying to visualize the safes and what may be at a specific resort, you may find it helpful to search for a room tour of a specific resort on YouTube. Many of the room tour videos show the details of the rooms, including the safes. Of course, you can also send us additional questions and we can provide you with more specifics about the details about the rooms.

    Wishing you a magical day!
