We have 2 room reservations using our DVC points for both rooms. Can 2 room take the quick service dining plan and the other room take the table service plan?

Hello Caroline and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for starting off the New Year with a question about the Disney Dining Plan, so many Guests have been waiting for its January 9, 2024 return!

You mentioned you have two rooms booked; if you have two separate reservations you can select different dining plans for each room. If both rooms are under the same reservation, you must select the same dining plan for all Guests. You can login to the DVC website and modify your existing reservation and separate rooms into their own reservation (subject to availability). If you prefer speaking directly to Member Services, you can contact them by phone or use the chat option on the DVC website during regular hours of operation.

The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan can be added to a Disney Resort hotel stay with an arrival on or after January 9, 2024. If I have a  trip where I’m spending most of my time in the Parks, I stick with Quick Service Dining to maximize time spent on attractions. I love the Disney Dining Plan as it includes a Table-Service credit so I can sit down to a fantastic meal each day of the trip. The Disney Dining Plan also provides Guests the opportunity to book Character Dining or Fine/Signature Dining (two table-service meals will be redeemed from the dining plan for each person). My daughters were delighted with Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White; the Character interactions were memorable!

The Walt Disney World Resort is home to many fantastic restaurants such as some of my family’s favorites: Sanaa which features African cooking with Indian flavors, and Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera with its exquisite French and Italian cuisine and amazing views which if timed right, might include a view of EPCOT’s all-new nighttime spectacular: Luminous The Symphony of Us

Caroline, I hope I’ve answered your question as you prepare for your Walt Disney World Resort visit. Please revisit us at planDisney if you have any other planning questions, we are happy to help!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
