You’re only a few sleeps away from your Disney vacation, and I’m wishing on a star that you’ll be able to have some fun in the Florida sun soon! But of course, plans can change. If you need to cancel your room-only reservation, which I’ve sadly had to do in the past, I can point you in the right direction.
For a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room-only reservation, you will receive a refund in its entirety if you cancel at least 5 days before your arrival date. On the flip side, if you cancel 0-4 days before your vacation, you will be charged the cost of a one-night stay at your hotel. By the way, Danielle, if you book a
Disney Vacation Package in the future, the current cancellation policy is very different and you’ll want to keep your eye on your monthly calendar.
If you decide to cancel, log in to your Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website and find “My Reservations.” From there, you can “Cancel Reservation.” You can also cancel by talking to a friendly Cast Member via the
hotel reservation hotline.
