I have a room only reservation and leave for POP in 6 days! I'd like to pay the balance via Disney Gift Cards. Can I do this online? I can't seem to find a link on my registration that allows me to! Thanks so much!

I am not saying that you can't, but I have been in a similar situation and could never figure out how to do it.

Here is what happened to me, and maybe it will help you in your plans. I arrived at my vacation, a bit exasperated from trying to do the same thing. Apply my gift cards in advance of my arrival. The WONDERFUL Cast Member said that while they WOULD take the whole gift card at arrival, they would prefer to take only part of it.

Their reasoning was this. If they took $100, and I only charged $90 to my room/resort, they could never reimburse me the remaining $10. They did not want to do that to me.

So every other afternoon, when we were back at the resort for pool time and naps, I ran up to the front desk, applied a few more dollars to the bill, and went on my merry way. It took literally 5 minutes, and when we checked out I did not have to deal with a credit that they could not return to me. And since they would only charge my credit card on file when I hit a certain limit (and a high one, at that), I knew I was never in danger of getting billed for something that I wanted to pay for with a gift card.

So my advice to you is this: Save the Gift Cards until you arrive. Apply only those $$$$ that you know you are going to spend, and give them more as needed.

I hope that this helps? Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
