Hello, I have room only reservation my first two nites, so I can get free dining. I am reading on line that I can go to guest realtions at any park and pick up my tickets early ( the ones on my dinning package). Has any one of you done this?Is it allowed?

    Hi there, Eddy!

First of all, have a wonderful time on your trip!! But it's Disney -- how could you not?

This is one of those "grey area" questions that demonstrates the incredible amount of information available to Disney vacationers out there.

Curious about this myself, I called (407) W-DISNEY to get the scoop.

This particular policy is not widely known by Cast Members, and, while it does exist, you may need to be extra-patient and diligent in your efforts to acquire your tickets early.

There are a couple of contingencies that have to be addressed in order to make this happen.

First of all, you must be staying on property prior to the start date of your package, and the Resort you're in early needs to be the same Resort attached to your Magic Your Way package. If both of these conditions are met, you may arrange to pick up your package tickets no earlier than three days prior to your package start date. You will need to pick them up at a Guest Relations window or at the Concierge desk of your home Resort.

Again, this is not a widely-advertised policy, so please understand if your Cast member does not immediately know that this option is available to Guests. You might need to speak with a couple of Cast Members before you can successfully have that policy invoked.

Enjoy your time in the World!

    See you later, celebrator,
