If I make a room only reservation and buy an AP for myself but buy MYW tickets for the rest of my family will the tickets and AP be linked to the magic bands that Disney sends to us?

    Hey Amy-

Jambo and I am so excited you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Because you are making a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, each of you will receive a MagicBand. Even you as a Walt Disney World Passholder will get an additional MagicBand to customize and enjoy. Each MagicBand and Theme Park ticket card has an identification number on the back. Go into your My Disney Experience account and make sure your family is linked correctly. If your MagicBands and Theme Park tickets are not already linked, you may then enter the identification numbers of the MagicBands and Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets you purchased and associate them with the correct family member. You may find that the tickets are already associated with the correct family member but to be sure I would check their My Disney Experience accounts.

My sons and I were Walt Disney World Passholders and whenever my wife would join us we would go through this exact process to link her MagicBand or ticket card.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
