    Room only reservation

    Welcome to planDisney, Brandy!

Ooh...it looks like you are contemplating a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth: Walt Disney World. How exciting!

When I'm thinking of booking a magical trip to the parks, I always head straight to the source: the Walt Disney World website. There, I'll select Places to Stay and will start exploring my options.

Once there, you can enter the dates you'd like to stay, how many adults and children will be in your party, then see availability, pricing, and types of accommodations you might like. You can also use filters to sort out price points, particular locations you'd like to call home for your trip, resort categories, and special characteristics. Think you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom Park more often than others? Add the Magic Kingdom Area filter. Star Wars fans in your group? Choose the Disney's Hollywood Studios Area filter so you'll be closer for those repeat visits to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. There are so many options; you'll definitely find a few favs.

Just to show you how easy it is to book a room-only reservation, I entered some items into a search for a stay in August for a family of four. The only filter I added was Moderate Resort--a great midpoint price-wise. From that list, I selected Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort; it's a favorite for those who enjoy multiple gorgeous pools, great dining, and access to the super-convenient Disney Skyliner, but every resort has some fabulous features. While you can opt to add theme park tickets, you'll see the room-only rate right there on your screen.

Brandy, as you nose around so many resort options, please send additional questions our way. We've likely got just the answer you need when choosing--and we love to help!
