What room would you recommend at the Grand Floridian? We would like a balcony and be able to view either the MK fireworks or the Electric Light Parade. We will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We want a "grand" location.

    Hi William!

I can't think of a better place to celebrate an anniversary than at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially since my husband and I try to visit every year for our own anniversary!  Plus, since Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is so magically romantic, you have definitely chosen the perfect place to stay!

Although any room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be a fantastic choice, the Theme Park View rooms will give you gorgeous views of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, and since they look over the Seven Seas Lagoon, you will get to see the Electrical Water Pageant, too!  On our last visit, we stayed in a Theme Park View room and loved it!  Not only were we able to view the fireworks over Cinderella Castle and the Electrical Water Pageant from our balcony, but because of the angle on which our room was situated, we could also see some of the fireworks from across property, which I believe were from Epcot, through the trees!

Since you're celebrating, make sure that you pick up some celebration buttons to wear, make a note of your anniversary on any special dining reservations, and check out all of the romantic surprises available from Disney Floral & Gifts that can be delivered to a variety of locations!  You never know when Mickey Mouse may have a Cast Member sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your magical anniversary trip!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
