    Are the room numbers on each door the same diameter (no matter which ship)? I’ve generally seen 7.5 inches but I’ve also seen 7.0 inches for the Magic. Looking for the diameter for the Disney Magic. Thanks!

    Hi there, Nakia!

    Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I was so excited to “sea” your question about stateroom door decorations for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  Decorating our stateroom door is one of my favorite things to do onboard – not only does it make it easier to spot our room, but it also allows for some creativity!  I always have my regular “go tos”, but each time I try to do something a little different to surprise my boys with once onboard!  In fact, I just finished up our door décor for our upcoming Halloween on the High Seas sailing today!

    When planning for your door decorations, I would plan for 7.5 inches in diameter.  I went back and measured my “go to” porthole décor and it indeed measures a little over 7.5 across, which allows for a tad bit of wiggle room to fit around!  I realized that I have used this same décor on all four ships with no problem, so I would stick with that measurement when making your door decorations!  Please be aware that Disney Cruise Line has some guidelines for door decorations – no tape, glue or adhesive material can be used; only magnets are permitted.
