For our room it will likely be 4 adults (us and grandparents) and our 2 kids (2 and 1.) Currently we have the WL Deluxe room booked, but should we consider elsewhere (villa, suite, etc)? We want a separate living space for the grandparents to sleep. Thx!

A multi generational trip to Walt Disney World! All ages of your family are going to have a blast on this vacation.

Separate sleeping quarters for the grandparents might make your trip even better. A little space and breathing room for each adult generation gives everyone a chance to regroup after time in the parks. You can make a deluxe room work for all of you. Perhaps put the grandparents in the living area while the rest of you take the bedroom. If your top priority, however, is a separate space for gramps and gram, do consider other options.

A two bedroom villa in Disney's Wilderness Lodge would work well for your brood. Each family could have their own bedroom and bathroom while enjoying the same living space and kitchen. My family of six loves these units. There is a washer and dryer, a sleeper sofa in the living area, and a kitchen for making sandwiches and snacks. Pop up a crib in the living area and then you and your husband can have a room to yourselves too.

Connecting rooms, a one bedroom villa or one of the new family suites at the Disney's Art of Animation Resort could also meet your needs.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
