Which has more room, fun pool for kids, activities, not too much walking? PO(both), POP, Art Animation, or allstars? 2.5, 5, 15 and parents...we will have our car: drive or take bus to parks?

    Hi Imen!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I'm going to handle the easiest question first.  I recommend driving to anywhere you want to go to at Walt Disney World, except possibly for the Magic Kingdom.  When you drive to the Magic Kingdom, you have to park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot and then walk or take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  Once you get to the TT&C, you then have to take the monorail or the ferry boat to get to the Magic Kingdom.  Disney transportation, on the other hand, drops you off right in front of the Magic Kingdom.  For all other destinations, however, driving your own car will be faster.

With regards to the resorts, it's not so straight forward.  Port Orleans French Quarter is one of the smallest resorts so you definitely won't have to do too much walking there.  However, I think its food court is not as nice as the others and the pool is not the best for older children.  The other resorts are all relatively large.  Between Port Orleans Riverside, Pop Century, and the Art of Animation Resort I would recommend going with the Art of Animation Resort or Port Orleans Riverside.  Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney Moderate Resort, but the Art of Animation Resort looks spectacular; I can't wait to try out this brand new resort.

I hope this gives you something to think about!  Write back with more questions!
