Since you’ve stayed at the All Star resorts on previous trips, you are familiar with the rooms which are 260 square feet and have two double beds.
You’ll need to consider how much time you’ll be spending in the room (and at your resort) as well as what works best for your budget.
Let’s look at room only rack rates for standard accommodations:
All Star Sports: weekend $125, weekday $115
All Star Music suite: weekend $285, weekday $265
Coronado Springs Moderate: weekend $195, weekday $185
While most moderate resorts offer double beds, the
Coronado Springs now has queens!
Upgrading to the All Star Music suite would be much more expensive and while you would have a bedroom, living room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette, two adults would have to sleep on a fold out bed. It would actually be less expensive to book two rooms at an All Stars resort.
The option that I most recommend is upgrading to the Coronado Springs Resort. It would be less expensive than the suite and you’d get to enjoy a moderate resort with queen beds.
Coronado’s rooms were recently refurbished with two queen beds which makes it a great value for your vacation dollars. Plus you’ll get a few extra amenities that are not offered at the value resorts such as a marina, large pool complex with slide, full service restaurant, fitness club and more.
If you are splitting the cost with the other adults and the extra expense works in your budget, I would definitely upgrade to Coronado for the nicer amenities and larger sleeping quarters at 314 square feet.
