Rebecca from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have a room booked for one adult and one child. Is it possible to add one adult to the room before the arrival date to change the reservation to two adults and one child.?

Hi there, Rebecca! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm so happy to see you here!

If you booked a room-only reservation at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you'll be able to change it through the Walt Disney World Resort website up to five days before your check-in date without penalty. To do this, simply hover over the My Disney Experience tab and click on My Plans. Once here, scroll down until you've located your reservation and click on Change Reservation. Now, you'll need to find your travel party and click on Change in order to add an extra adult to your reservation.

Rebecca, keep in mind that adding an extra Guest to your reservation will incur an additional charge. If, for any reason, you have any issues trying to change your reservation, you'll need to speak with a friendly Cast Member at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations hotline. They will be able to help you out with anything you might need!

I hope this helps, Rebecca! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help! Have a magical day!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
