Patricia, it sounds like you’re interested in learning about some of the room amenities at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. As a Disney Vacation Club resort, you’ll be happy to hear that Vero Beach has the same room amenities as other DVC villas. That means, inn rooms and deluxe studios will be equipped with a small kitchenette area with a microwave, mini fridge, and wet bar sink. 1-bedroom villas and larger will have a full kitchen, complete with a full-sized fridge, a stove, dishwasher, and also comes equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer. You can see the full list of room amenities on the
Resort hotel’s website. To view them, look for your desired room type in the horizontal blue banner and select “View Amenities”.
Patricia, while you’re at Vero Beach I have some recommendations based on my recent stay there. The
Green Cabin Room, just above the main lobby, turns into a coffee shop in the morning. It’s a great way to get some specialty coffee for the much needed caffeine boost to start the day. I highly recommend taking that cup of joe out to the balcony just behind the bar for some breathtaking views of the ocean!
Also, being at a beachside resort, you should definitely take advantage of the gorgeous beach. I recommend
renting a beach umbrella and some chairs and let the sounds of the waves soothe and relax you. Or if a light activity is more your vibe, take a nice stroll along the beach and you may even find some sea turtles nesting! Please make sure to
maintain a safe distance as the species that visit this resort are threatened or endangered. There’s also
mini-golf onsite and bike rentals at
Eb & Flo's Rentals available (there’s a great network of bike trails just outside of the resort).
