Hi Denise!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It appEARs that you may soon be headed to
Walt Disney World Resort for a magical vacation! As a mom to a seven-year old, I know that your seven-year old Mouseketeer will have the best time at
“The Most Magical Place on Earth” and is at the perfect age to make memories that will last forever!
Staying in a hotel with littles is always
so much fun… (can you sense my sarcasm?!?). For whatever reason, no matter how tired my boys may be after a long day of traveling, exploring or playing, whenever we enter a hotel room it automatically becomes a play land! Additionally, when we attempt to put them both into one bed, that really gets the party started and “lights out” doesn’t mean much…but splitting them up and sharing a bed with them comes with its own set of issues too! As little as they are, they manage to take up the entire bed and I will undoubtedly end up with a foot in my face or an entire body horizontally spread across the bed leaving me with a tiny corner to try to get some rest. So, I totally understand your desire to use an air mattress for a little one during your stay! While
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort does not offer rollaway beds or air mattresses for Guest use, you are permitted to bring your own for use in your room, if you choose to. And, I will be honest, the spacing may be a little tight, but I would definitely take tighter quarters for a peaceful night’s rest! We have often traveled with a portable toddler air mattress and to this day, my six and seven-year olds can still fit into it. It takes up less space than a twin-sized air mattress and provides ALL of us a good night’s sleep.
Hopefully this information helps you in making the most of your vacation, Denise! If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again!
