Hi, Jill!
My pick is definitely
Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park. I dined there last month and was star-struck by the romantic 1930s Hollywood atmosphere. It is on the second floor of the park’s iconic reproduction of Carthay Circle Theatre, which was where Walt Disney’s
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered, so the much of the restaurant’s decor pays homage to the film and Walt himself. In addition to the main dining room, private rooms can be arranged through Disney Dining for a more intimate experience. The Hyperion and Buena Vista Rooms seat up to five people, the Premier Room seats up to 12, and the Hollywood Room seats up to 20. There are also two outdoor terraces with views of the park below. Everything about this restaurant is luxurious and rich with history.
Valentine’s Day will be an extra magical experience this year because of Disneyland Resort’s
Limited Time Magic! From February 11-17, Guests can celebrate their “happily ever after” with True Love Week. Sleeping Beauty Castle will be highlighted in shades of pink, red and lavender at night with projections of hearts and flowers. Mickey and Minnie will be making appearances as a couple, as well as princesses with their princes. For that romantic dinner you’re in search of, a special fixed-price menu will be available at Carthay Circle Restaurant, in addition to Blue Bayou, Café Orleans, Steakhouse 55 and Napa Rose. For reservations, please call (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.
Love is sure to be in the air, Jill! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
