Hi Marisa,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney, I am happy to help you plan your vacation!
Marisa, you ask a great question about which items are allowed into the theme parks and Walt Disney World property. Currently, backpacks with or without wheels must be no larger than 24" long, 15" wide, and 18" high to be allowed into the theme parks. So good news! If your backpack fits within that size category, you are absolutely able to bring it into the parks with you. Here is a list of
Walt Disney World Property Rules for you to follow as you continue with your vacation planning. These rules are designed for the safety and enjoyment for all Guests visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort and they may change from time to time. So, it is best to check back prior to your vacation to have the most up to date information.
Since it sounds like you are planning on bringing many items with you into the theme parks, I wanted to mention that there are
Locker Rentals available at each theme park and water park. My good friend
Jackie introduced me to the convenience of renting a locker many years ago, and I can honestly say it has changed the way I vacation when I have many items that I want to bring with me. Usually, when I am visiting a theme park, I wear a smaller backpack that contains my water bottle and a few other things, but I keep my larger backpack in a locker.
I hope you have a Magical vacation! Please come back and visit us here again at planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions. We are always excited to help you plan your next adventure.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
