Are rollaway beds available at Grand Floridian or Polynesian Resorts? Is it possible to reserve them ahead? How large is the daybed in both resorts?

    Hi Carol,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Roll-away beds are not currently available at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I have two children so we are always looking for hotel rooms with a variety of sleeping options. I also travel frequently with a group of friends and someone always ends up on a daybed or sofabed.

The daybed available in some of Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms is slightly smaller than a twin bed. I am around 5 ft. 7 in. tall and I slept comfortably on the daybed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. My daughter is just a bit shorter than I am and she has slept well on daybeds at several of the resorts, including Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I hope you will find it a useful space for your visit.

Carol, thank you for visiting us again with another great question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
